True - yet this user asked, if he can run VST-plgins whithout wine and
he can. Of course justice is no solution for those, that want to have
NI-Stuff running on Linux. But anyway: wine running DLLs is no solid,
future-proof solution for Linux Audio either. If Steinberg would really
release VST under a OSI-Licence at least, the situation would be much
better.

But to have proprietary VST-plugins running perfectly well on Linux will
not help promoting the development of free software for Linux like LV2
or AMS.
