Hi Josh,
hmm good question, in this case I would just set the tempo in seq24 and make it jack master (seems to work here), would this be possible in your setup?

PS: thanks to Kevin Meinert's additions seq24 can now also be MIDI slave (bzr version), but then of course it won't handle jack transport.
