It is not related.  It just so happens that the frequency C in our scale
becomes a "binary" number eg. 256Hz, 512Hz, 1024 Hz, 2048Hz, ..., when A
is 432Hz instead of 440Hz. And that did not prevent making cheesy
video game music.
