For experiments better get a few books about electronic and electronic
musical instruments and order electronic semiconductors and a usable
bread board from an Internet shop.

For example, while a single Metal film resistor 1.00 kOhm does cost
0,082 €, ten already only cost 0,49 €:

It's also to consider to order assortments of electronic semiconductors.

For serious assembly kits of electronic musical instruments, that can
be used to make music, there are likely better companies. In the 80s
there were e.g. Doepfer and Wersi who provided very good synth, at least
Doepfer provided Moog alike synth for fair costs, perhaps Doepfer still
does.
