The Guitarix developers proudly present Guitarix release 0.35.2 Guitarix is a tube amplifier simulation for jack (Linux), with an additional mono and a stereo effect rack. Guitarix includes a large list of plugins[*] and support LADSPA / LV2 plugs as well. The guitarix engine is designed for LIVE usage, and feature ultra fast, glitch and click free preset switching and is full Midi and/or remote controllable (the Web UI is not included in the distributed tar ball). This release mainly fix a build issue in Debian #839354 and ARCH Beside that, the changes are: * add stereo cabinet plugin * fix bypass insert jack port with midi CC * add menu option to set a midi controller for engine bypass * add scroll wheel support to status images * switch to use glib-compile-resources instead gdk-pixbuf-csource to include images into libgxw. * Fix Preset switching issue in lv2 amps and cabinet * disable midi control for un-loaded plugs * add check if LV2 ports are valid * fix bug #34 Note that a couple of new additional guitar related plugs in LV2 format been available on github now. This release resolves those for better results on all platforms. ZynAddSubFX 3.0.0 Release - Zyn-Fusion

Hello linux audio community, The 3.0.0 release of Zyn 3.0.0 aka Zyn-Fusion has arrived. For those of you who haven't been following this development the 3.0 release is all about resolving the major issues with the existing user interface. How you ask? By creating an entirely new user interface based upon Budislav Stepanov's excellent mockups. This new UI is a single window UI with nicely organized controls and a vastly improved navigation system. This release features pre-compiled binaries for both 64bit Linux and windows. Sales for these binaries are being used to fund development for the time being. This is a one-year maintenance release of qmidiarp. A few new little features have sneaked in and a few bugs have been fixed, both thanks to people filing tickets! Nothing else to say, except that the detailed changes are right below ;) Check it out, have fun! Also, the note range entries can now be set by MIDI learn o Arp: The octave mode is now defined by independent upper/lower bounds (feature request #12 by ssj71) o LFO: New waveform flip button (feature request #11 by MilkMiruku) o Seq: The output MIDI channel is now a MIDI controllable item. This allows for instance an LFO to control the Seq MIDI channels for dispatching sounds within a sequence (feature request #13 by Menno) Fixed Bugs o LFO: Offset slider didn't follow drawing and led to jumps on first use o LFO: Waveform type switched to custom when muting points (bug #16 reported by MilkMiruku) o Arp: When using Global Storage "Restore", the restore step was incorrect ----- QMidiArp is a MIDI arpeggiator, phrase generator and controller LFO for JACK and ALSA. It can run multiple synchronized arpeggiators, LFOs and step sequencers. The modules are also available as LV2 plugins with Qt user interface. All in all it is a handy live tool.
