AGNULA/DeMuDi 1.2.0-beta2, the Debian-based GNU/Linux distribution for
audio/video, has been released.

This version is the third beta of the 1.2.0 series, which sports
tighter integration with Debian, using the Sarge Debian Installer and
the CDD (Custom Debian Distributions) framework.

It's a mainly a bug fixing release, with few additions. It's still
meant for testing, but should be quite usable.

Instructions on how to download and install it can be found here:

http://www.agnula.org/download/demudi/demudi_1_2_0_iso

and a list of frequently asked questions here:

http://www.agnula.org/download/demudi/1.2.0-beta-FAQ/

Highlights:

- Installer:
	* Added splash image for grub
	* Fix handling of scsi cdrom
	* Using ide-scsi by default
	* Choice between Desktop (GNOME) and Minimalistic (Fluxbox)
          graphical environments
	* Installing many useful packages by default (vim, aterm, anacron,
	  bzip2, cdrecord, xchat, unison, gqview)
	* Fixed pre-seeded debconf answer for dictionaries-common
        * Running the XFree86 configuration menu item of base-config
          only on fresh installations, so that running base-config
          again won't affect the XF86Config-4 file

- New/updated applications:
	* gnomoradio
	* specimen 0.2.4
	* fluxbox 0.9.9

- Menus:
	* Fixed bug in the Samplers menu
	* Renamed Sound with Audio for faster access
	* Moved Games in Apps

- Configuration:
        * Added cfengine code to customise /etc/skel/.bash_profile and
          /etc/skel/.bashrc
	* Fixed gkrellm defaults
        * New fluxbox theme and background
        * Added ~/.Xresources to the skeleton files
