Patrick,
Nobody, me included, thought anyone would promote anything except the
truth. We can certainly work on the plans and figure out what to promote,
and when to promote it.

I'm in need of a better MIDI setup first. If anything in the Linux
environment could run along side of my Pro Tools setup, giving me what I
need (instrument naming, better program changes, scoring, etc.) then I could
just wait for Ardour to get there on the audio side.

One step at a time with a vision of where we're going.

Mark

Another reason for advertising (assuming we can choose the correct
places) is that we increase our chances of the reporters being able to
publish their yet to be written stories if we have a proven track record
of supporting the publications.

We scratch their back and they will be less resistant to scratching ours.

I agree with Mark that we shouldn't be promoting Linux Audio as fully
functioning because we will get a negative reaction which will be hard
to overcome. There is definite scope for targetting the techies though.
As long as we don't promote lies we will be doing a lot more for our
image than most consumers expect from advertising campaigns.
