lose the animation.

white background: good!

find out how to keep multiple columns from being wider than the
browser window (or stick to a single main column (with the canonical
left hand navigation column)).

lose the top frame, it doesn't have any information that the user
might need to get at all the time, and it doesn't tell the user where
they are on the site. furthermore, they're all links to offsite pages.

it isn't clear what the user's attention should be drawn to first:
having the licensing as the first thing on the page is kind of
confusing since it's something most people don't care about. perhaps
put it in the small print in the footer.

content layout : split up the content a bit more, perhaps into 'HowTo:
Audio on Linux', 'HowTo: Using Linux', 'Getting Help & Support',
'Links', etc.

don't link to older documentation. folks are probably interested in
information like what sequencer/multitrack hdd recorders/audio
editing/softsynth applications are available and how do i make them
run. address these directly, and give digested information instead of
forcing them to sift through all the primary sources again (as many
here have already done).

what's jack?
what's alsa?
what's a tarball; what do i do with them? why are you providing one to
download?

clearly you'd like to draw user's attention to the low latency stuff.
perhaps put near the top somewhere something like 'how do i get < 3ms
full-duplex audio on linux?' etc. (perhaps find a better link than
benno's old page too).

maybe give a sample workflow, ie. answer the question, 'what does
doing audio and music with linux look like?'

thanks for your work,
	rob
