[LAD] alsa deprecated code

Does anyone know anything about this change in alsa:

warning:  snd_pcm_sw_params_set_xfer_align  is deprecated (declared  
at /usr/include/alsa/pcm.h:1115)

I just wanted to check background before fixing the code.
