Up until recently, I /was/ upstream.  I was the only one on 
the team interested in merging JACK MIDI... so it didn't 
happen.  Alex's request is the FIRST request I've heard 
besides mine.

I'm already working on it:

The LV2 plugin is due this month.  However, there's nothing 
to see until then.
