there was one answer.

the real issue is that many of these apps don't consider MIDI control
either much, or at all. it appears to me that you're not aware of the
complexities of delivering MIDI out of an application as a result of
GUI operations.

in addition, making a suggestion that could be reworded as "it would
be great if the authors of the following N apps could all do some work
to make their apps do what i think they should do" generally lands on
very deaf ears within any open source community, and particularly this
one.
