I would quite like to have a look at your knob, but ardour3 r7775 segfaults
here, right after clicking on Apply in the New Session dialog. Attached: output
and backtrace.

Note: I changed the jack dependency to 0.118 in libs/midi++2/wscript and
libs/ardour/wscript, to build with Debian's libjack 1:0.118+svn3796-7.
