[LAD] Berkley DB requirement

Hi
I was wondering why properties do not work in Fedora, but the package
does not build with DB.
I just wanted to make sure that properties are dependent on Berkley DB.
There is no alternative systemd or other things that I would have
missed that would make properties to work ?

(and by the way if there is an introduction on how to setup Jack2 in
any IDE that would be great.)
