not working here either. Running Mandrake with same rpms.

wine appears to be working ok generally,
i have northpole and freeverb2 dlls in /usr/share/vst,
vst server starts up ok:
"VSTSERVER/main: Vstserver 0.2.5 started. Waiting for requests."
but no sign of any plugins :-(

tried with Audacity and Ardour


is it working for anyone else?
