Hi Paul,

I don't know how exactly ALSA supports isapnp, all I discovered (after some
pain) is I have to "activate" my sound card with isapnptools. In order:

1) isapnp supported in the kernel
2) pnpdumped -c to /etc/isapnp.conf
3) activated it with isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf
4) build ALSA with --enable-isa=yes or something

To get sound working I had to do all the four points... Now could you tell me
how did you use to change default IRQ with isapnptools? Thank you :)

felipe
