[linux-audio-user] Motherboard recommendation?

if you can afford one, smp machines perform excellently for audio tasks, 
as most of them are multi-threaded and make full use of both cpus.

the downsides are, they are still somewhat expensive, and you will have 
one extra fan and probably a noisier power supply.
