[linux-audio-user] Clone one soundcard's output onto another soundcard's output?

I just know there's some way for me to copy the ch1/ch2 output signals 
of my Delta 1010 card to the L/R outputs of my Soundblaster.  I know 
that this could be done with my ~/.asoundrc file.  I've google, read 
the docs, lost some hair, lost some sleep, found some more lost hair, 
and still can't figure it out.  Could some ultrakind person please 
give me a hint?
