You can buy pre-milled rack rail from large electronics shops, just screw
it to the left and right front sides of a cabinet.

You have to be carefull to get the allignment just right, but its not too
hard.

Alternativly Quikloc make a rnage of modular rack gear, I expect you
can make what you want out of that.
