Yes, I have zero trouble with jackd and jackd-realtime.  Jackstart 
complains for me, just as for you.  I wish I could fix that, but I 
haven't found anything.  I stopped looking since jackd-realtime does 
all I need.

Please let us all know if/when you get this figured out.
