Hi Tom, hi Mark:

  Okay, I just reloaded the kid's Ardour session from last night. All 
plugins were intact and just as I last saved them. I did the things that 
caused the noise problem (moved a track, relocated playback cursor, etc).

  No noise. Everything was fine.
