Yeah, or loose the whole thing in a hard-drive crash and have to
reinvent the wheel (as Jeskola Buzz reportedly did, if it is at all
true). 

In any case, the Caps LADSPA plugins have some nice amp emulators.
They sound good to me, anyways.
