Well not too sure if there is a routing problem, or maybe a conflict
between the two cards. Is it possible to disable the onboard card? Or
maybe change the irq?

So if you dont run 2 instances of pd, and try running the multiface, the
sound is distoted? Can you describe what you are hearing? Does it sound
like an over driven amp? Or is it more like a conversion distortion, ie
sounds like some weird alien kind of noise?

Is it possible to hookup the multiface to a pci interface, and see if
that works?
