Don't forget to add in damage to our hearing, too. ;-)
And what about the apparent positive impact of harmonious sounds on
biological growth processes? I think natural life itself prefers
harmonious sound to non-harmonious sound. Perhaps modern people are
drawn to non-harmonious sound because it echoes their own unease, unrest
and dissatisfaction with their disharmonious modern lives, cultures, and
world.
