[LAU] best cheap mic(s) for acoustic / vocal recording?

I did only a quick scan of some of the comments but I thought exactly the 
same: Every mic will sound good in one position and bad in another. It all 
depends on placing the mics (relative to the instruments).
You can love or hate mics for their quality or their sound buts that is 
something different and in case of the sound something very personal.

Having more sound at the top-end to EQ away is also good to reduce noise...
