I have a problem with RG on Debian Etch that begine with the 1.5.1 ,
also with 1.4.0 ( Etch release) and the current 1.6.0. Everything was
working well till now with 1.5.1 , but some days ago the issue appears
suddenly :
The gui doesn't show up . I can see the connections a the Qjackctl tab ,
but no gui at all.

Here is a crash log that happen a few minutes ago with with 1.4.0 after
downgrade from 1.5.1

With 1.6.0 there is no "visible" crash , but after the new splash image
all that I can see is the connections at the Qjackctl tab.

Cheers.
