If you've ever tried to use your notebook at an outside gig you will be 
very appreciative of the olpc innovation with the new screen. It uses 
"some kind of diagonally referenced pixel grid"(TM) where each pixel can 
produce both black and color so it is viewable in direct sunlight.

Also they consume only one tenth of the power that the newest green 
machines are spec'd at.
