I understand Ken, and was delighted to see the on-line applications 
people linked to in messages, however it doesn't appear necessary for 
the project to use any application at all, other than the "container" 
such as Audacity or Ardour, or other.

We just need a server with modest bandwidth and secure backup.  I don't 
know if the one I control would be adequate, so I'll hold to see if a 
better choice is offered.
