Start it like this:

$ seq24 --manual_alsa_ports

and it will show up in QJackCtl's MIDI tab (or any other ALSA patchbay app).

Note that it remembers this setting, so you have to edit .seq24rc and
change the [manual-alsa-ports] value back to 0 to get the old
behavior.
