I only use the rt kernel from the musix repo...

Debian stable is very stable....
But I think many audio apps on linux are new or are developing rapidly, 
and Debian is not always very fast with those new updates... especially 
not stable...

So I decided to use Debian testing/ sid mixed system. This is NOT 
recommended by the official support of Debian!
But I have very good experience with it.... I only use sid for audio 
applications (when it is needed).
I use aptitude instead of apt-get and it works perfect for me (Do not 
use aptitude and apt-get, choose one! and if you choose aptitude don't 
use the synaptic!! If you change from apt-get to aptitude first thing to 
do is # aptitude keep-all))...
