Including (or specifically targeting) what can go wrong, which error 
messages that produces (and where those messages appear), and how to fix 
it. The most common problems only.

Also some hints about how the user can learn to track down problems them 
selves (simple things like running the application from the commandline 
and posting error messages to google).
