more than this. AL was written in part based on its initial authors'
experiences with other DAWs and represented an attempt to create an
all-in-one package that would meet what they believed were the
emerging workflow demands of "modern artists". AL is specifically NOT
conceived by its creators as something to supplement the use of other
DAWs. Whatever its flaws may (or may not) be, AL is intended to do
everything you need to do when creating music (though admittedly, it
has some stylistic biases that make it less suitable for some kinds of
music production).
