i use a debian testing (with jack token from unstable/experimental
packages):
lash 0.5.4-1+b1
jack 0.116.1-3

with some vsts i receive this output:
system.reg is not a valid registry file
userdef.reg is not a valid registry file
user.reg is not a valid registry file
yo... lets see...
instantiate...
sample_rate...
lash_open_socket: could not connect to host 'localhost', service '14541'
lash_comm_connect_to_server: could not create server connection
Connected to JACK server with client name 'LASH_Server'
Opened ALSA sequencer with client ID 129
Listening for connections
Created project project-1 in directory /home/luigi/audio-projects/project-1
Added client fcffb68d-6241-4dc6-9ce9-2c4d21d3d72c of class Arppe2600va to project project-1
Client fcffb68d-6241-4dc6-9ce9-2c4d21d3d72c set its name to 'Arppe2600va'
PortLayout: in: 1 out: 2
created audio thread
Calling Jack activate
cannot lock down memory for RT thread (Impossibile allocare della memoria)
jack_client_thread zombified - exiting from JACK
And xid = 7800005
Entering main loop
ok.... RockNRoll
calling gtk_main now
(and plugin loads, but not in jack)

with other plugin

i use a 2.6.28.2 kernel (without rt patch) and a 2.6.26.8 (with rt14
patch); in my /etc/security/limits.conf i have these lines:
@audio          -       nice            -19
@audio          -       rtprio          99
@audio          -       memlock         778000

and any other audio applications work.

i launch jackd (from qjackctl) with these options:
/usr/bin/jackd -R -P72 -dalsa -dhw:0,0 -r48000 -p256 -n2 -D -Phw:0
(i have an audigy es).

what can i do?

ciao
Luigi
