That is on Debian

This is on Ubuntu

  grep -i RT_GROUP_SCHED /mnt/lucid/boot/config-2.6.33-29-realtime
CONFIG_RT_GROUP_SCHED=y


Hmmm, doesn't look good but I doubt if this is the cause of this 
particular problem, because I have the same issue on Debian...
