[LAU] lots of broken audio dev packages in ubuntu 10.4

Both my newly installed 10.4 and several updated machines (9.10->10.4) work 
great with audio.

But then I never had (big) problems during ubuntu's version upgrades. Compared 
to the two days of joy before deciding to not update that suse install and 
instead ditch it.
