[LAU] lots of broken audio dev packages in ubuntu 10.4

I have Lucid as well and I've all those packages installed. What happens 
if you try to manually install the dependencies? Doing that should tell 
you why it cannot be installed (or use aptitude as Robin suggested -I 
never learned how to use it :)-).
