[LAU] OT music conducive to programming?

A friend of mine told me a while back that there had actually been some 
research done saying that ambient electronic music had some kind of 
beneficial effect on tasks involving concentration. It seems to work for 
me, but I guess if you really hated that kind of music it would have the 
wrong effect. ;)
