I also seem to remember from this thread that you are using an i5. FWIW on my i7 CPUs and with an up to date rt patched kernel (Archlinux), the pstate driver seems to work perfectly fine without causing any xruns, so I don't bother with the CPU governor at all anymore (YMMW). -- Joakim
