[LAU] The future of audio plugins ?

Have not yet tried but what Ive read atleast nebula needs proper gainstaging because of non linear (in regards to level) processing of signal. Cannot swear on it but would guess atleast some other modeling plugings share similar approach.

Anybody know if convolution reverbs treat signal in a non linear manner, and if its strictly internal processing or if multiple impulse responses could be utilized? Would be fun to experiment with morphing verbs.
