[LAU] Hardware Soundcard - MOTU 624 AVB Working with Gnu/Linux - Debian 8.7

Hi!

I have the Ultralite AVB and have downgraded my card as per recommendations
from Motu tech support. The reason for me was to be able to use more than
24ch stream in CC more from my computer. That option is removed on later
firmware. The latest public beta firmware which probably is available for
624 has a very nice touch console. (Mixer made for touch based surfaces
that will be a nice addition)

My understanding is that you should be able to downgrade as you please but
I can not guarantee anything. Tech support is great and will probably
respond quickly even if "Operating system = Other"
