The string section was made up of the cello and viola section from the
Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra library layered with Mellotron strings. I
heard someone say that a low amount of tron can lift any library to a
new level of realism. :)

The other quiet high pitched string is a patch on one of my hardware
synths, though practically every synth/plugin would have done.
