invitation to all Linuxaudio.org members to please forward the relevant
summary of the latest developments in the area of their specific projects
and/or creative endeavors. It is our aim to supply monthly updates regarding
our members' activities and with it provide additional exposure as well as
up-to-date information.

DJCJ, LAU Guide, Quicktoots, Low latency Howto, VST compatibility list.
After a two year hiatus from direct involvement in the LAD community
spent working on e-commerce and music event promotions in Asia, DJCJ.org
is back. Improvements to the projects under our supervision are already
underway.
- The most recent news is we have moved the community portals LAU Guide,
Quicktoots, Low latency Howto, VST compatibility list to their new homes
at linuxaudio.org.

64 Studio has created a new custom Debian distribution for the
Lionstracs Mediastation, which is now being shipped. Free has been
working on improvements to PDK, Progeny's development kit for specialist
distributions, which will enable PDK to be used with Debian Etch. We are
also looking into JACK performance on multi-processor and dual-core
x86_64 CPU systems, and full free software support for the latest
integrated motherboard chipsets from nVidia.

Nearly no progress on Canorus, I discussed with Matevz Jekovec some ideas
but we were mainly busy the last month fixing bugs and putting out
the release candidate for NoteEdit 2.8.1. But this should change soon
as the candidate is out now.
Slightly OT: There is a wrong link on the quicktoots page, pointing to the
old address for the Linux Audio User mailing list.

JAMin is pretty much static at the moment - as we say in Mississippi "it
ain't broke so we ain't fixin' it". There has been a request for RMS
meters added to the standard input and output meters but I'm hoping
Steve can handle that since he wrote the meter code (and I don't
understand it ;-) I'll let you know when/if we get that working.

The FreeBoB project will release this week its first release. This
release will support many BeBoB based products with some basic
operations. We already work very hard on the next version which should
then give some more control over the devices like sync selection etc.
