Currently the entire content hosted under the LAO domain is located on the
Virginia tech server which is provided free of charge and is maintained
primarily by Robin and Ico. there are several other people who maintain
subdomains. Currently no one is paid to provide these services.

That is one of the core principals behind the establishment of the
Consortium.

Decoupling has a negative connotation. Are you suggesting that Linux Audio
should have no commercial interests? If that is your opinion then I think
you are on the wrong mailing list.

That is a valid point and would be worth having a policy in regards to. As
we own the channel we can decide what tracking if any is included for
analytical purposes.
