There have been api changes or something like that between 0.102 (I
think that was the release number) and 0.109 (I think that's the most
recent one).
Some apps had and have problems with the new version, traverso had it,
aldrin has it, ...

I don't have any error report at hand right now, but the errors appear
not at compiletime but when you try to run and connect an app.
