Thanks. Also the Mackie SRM450's look nice too. I've put stuff (electronic drums, mostly) through both with good results.

The Crown is a CE 1000, which, I'm discovering, has roughly the same power out on each channel as each JBL or Mackie would have. Which makes me wonder if this isn't an insane idea.

Their Crown is dead, or appears to be, it cuts out at random intervals. So the goal here would be to replace it with something cheap/Craigslist, and use use it to power the Bag Ends as stage wedge monitors.

Also, I'm also learning that the placement of the speakers in the corners is seriously not good. We're going to try to put the new speakers closer to the stage.
