Thank you for being polite! :-)

This was not a misunderstanding, it was bad memory from my side. And now 
I remember that I usually use Qsynth or timidity for this. But I have 
tested it with Linuxsampler too.

I haven't used a software metronome for more than half a year, because I 
prefer  my cheap KORG MA-30 with very low volume when I'm practising. By 
using that one, I feel that it's very easy to play to a click track or 
anything unfamiliar when recording.

But anyway: KMetronome is my choice when I use a software metronome. It's 
so easy to make new patterns and rhythms on it, that it's also a valuable 
composition and arranging tool. It's embarrassing that I forgot how 
powerful and yet easy to use KMetronome is.
