Hi,
unfortunately linux-show-player doesn't yet support video playback, but 
with the next release (should happen in this days) it allow an (almost) 
complete cue-control (start/stop/pause, you can seek using another cue) 
using MIDI, and a cue to send MIDI messages.

Anyway, by the end of the year I hope to be able to provide video 
support, so, for the future it could be a possible option :)
