ALSA backend, jackd is for expert use only.
After using Folgers advice to get pulse to use jack,
strange things now
happen.
Seems to complain that there is no jack server available. Likely
pulseaudio was started before jackd, so the pulse-jack modules have no
jack server to make the connection.
