Hi Filipe,
I tried to reinstall Jack but nothing as change, I’m still not able to make any of my
soft/daw/audio applications …..appear in the « connection » window of jack. I can only
see « system"
I tried in another Mac (one of my friend) .It’s an old one, not M1. And it worked.
I’m pretty sure jack is not working correctly.
Any help would be more than appreciated.
Thanks.

I wrote Carla and use it on a regular basis, this works fine as far as I am concerned.

On macOS it uses coreaudio driver by default, but you can easily change it in the
settings to use jack (make sure to pick multi-client mode too)
It is not to connecting multiple applications, but plugins. Each plugin as its own
client.
There are a few other projects out there that can send audio from one application to
another.
Stuff like SoundFlower, BlackHole and Rewire.
I do not have experience with them, so no idea how good or bad they work.
