So your test shows:
- PCM playback goes well
- PCM capture don't goes well
> In FW mode this command just hangs.
Would you explain more detail?

CAPS 0.9.19
===========
http://quitte.de/dsp/caps.html
The latest release of this collection of LADSPA plugins extends the
dynamics modulation capabilities of the 'virtual guitar amplifier'
AmpVTS and fixes a nasty bug in the Noisegate circuit that had been
causing spurious gain fluctuations in closed gate state.

Hi all,
Wasn't entirely sure where to ask this question, but I'm hoping someone can
help me with a small problem:
I'm using the Steinberg CI1 Audio Interface running Ubuntu 13.10. As of a
recent kernel, this Audio Interface is supported now (!). However, I'm
noticing that during playback, I get intermittent bursts of static/white
noise. Playback will be going fine, and the audio for less than a second
turns to static (I can describe as sharp and loud white noise) then goes
back to playing fine. This can happen a few times in succession, or go
minutes without happening at all.
Earlier last year when fighting this issue, I had authored a post on the
Ubuntu forums here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2150401
Which, before the kernel had been updated to support the Steinberg CI1, did
get it working but still with this static. I had thought it was a fluke in
my little 'workaround', so decided to wait until it was officially supported
in the kernel.
I had gathered my information from a Clemens Ladisch (and credited!) a post
on this very mailing list:
http://linux-audio.4202.n7.nabble.com/Support-for-Steinberg-UR22-Yamaha-USB…
At this point now, with official kernel support and the issue still
happening, I'm at wits end here looking for a solution.
Thanks for any and all help!

Hi all,
After one year of complete inactivity here's the NASPRO 0.5.1. A few
bugfixes here and there, and LRDF-equivalent data updated to the
latest CAPS release.
ino, gino, and FreeADSP are dead, but FreeADSP will hopefully
resurrect with a GTK+ GUI.

Enjoy!

Hello.
I looked to MPRIS specification in order to write jack transport client with
this interface, and noticed solution, which could be used for jackdbus too.
Currently jack serice name is fixed: org.jackaudio.service
In MPRIS naming is like <prefix string>.<instance name> (e.g.
org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.audacious).
For jack it could have this form: org.jackaudio.<server name> or
org.jackaudio.service.<server name>. Older name may be kept for compatibility,
and most likely to be created by first jack server, appearing in user session.
With such approach it could be possible for other daemons, e.g. ladish, to
expose jack-like interfaces in more common way.
Of course, currently it is done as essential (using of different service
names), but it is not standard. With proposed approach it may be possible even
to browse jack services. Control tools like qjackctl could even propose some
menu (sidebar in patchage) or even (sic! =) transport control rack for better
convenience.
Hi,
This is an announcement for a GUI toolkit, which works for Android tablets as well as for the Linux desktop. This means that all widgets are touch-friendly, such that values can be observed also when
you put your thick fingers on the sensitive areas.
The library is accompanied with 2 audio applications: a (more or less) classic synthesizer and a (not so classic) organ. Both are polyphonic. My intention was to create applications that you can use
at home with a regular MIDI controller, and outdoors with an on-screen keyboard or with a mini MIDI controller.
Android is traditionally plaged with a long audio latency, but the latest version (KitKat) is really good in this respect. Also the USB interface is fast. IMHO, these musical instrument applications
are really playable now.
Notice that you can build (if you want so) an application for Linux only, or for Android only. The source code as well as an introduction can be found at:

Comments are welcome.

http://quitte.de/dsp/caps.html
The latest release of CAPS, a collection of LADSPA plugins, contains
two important bugfixes and minor sonic improvements.
http://quitte.de/dsp/caps.html#CHANGES
James Morris insisted that something was wrong with the PlateX2 stereo
reverb, and indeed, it turned out that its damping parameter would not
be read correctly. (This bug, it pains me to admit it, probably dates
back to 0.9.0, possibly even earlier. In my defense, I only ever use
the mono-to-stereo version which was not affected.)
Ricardo Crudo isolated a potential segmentation fault triggered by the
'model' parameter selection of the CabinetIV plugin.
Thanks guys!

Hi,
I have just finished two XSL stylesheets for converting specimen banks
to the save format used by petri-foo, so a user can easily switch to
petri-foo:
https://github.com/residuum/specimen2petri-foo
There are two stylesheets, depending on your locale settings, i.e. if
your locale uses comma or dot as decimal separator (if 1/2 is saved as
0.5 or 0,5 on your system).
If there are any other decimal separators out there your copy
s2p_comma.xsl and replace strings "0," and "1," to your settings. Do not
do that with s2p_dot.xsl, because necessary version information for XML
and XSL use strings like "1.0" etc.
Standard sample rate is set to 44.1 kHz, if you want to change to
another value, just edit the value in line 6.
If you encounter any bugs, open an issue on Github or send me an email.
Thanks,
Thomas
