[ANN] Vee One Suite 0.9.28 - An End-of-Year'22 Release batch #2

Holidays greetings, Yet one second time and behold: The 'Vee One Suite' of 'old-school' software instruments, * synthv1 [1] as a polyphonic subtractive synthesizer; * samplv1 [2] a polyphonic sampler synthesizer; * drumkv1 [3] as yet another drum-kit sampler; * padthv1 [4] a polyphonic additive synthesizer. This time released for this End-of-Year'22 season... All still delivered in dual form: - a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session [5], NSM (Non Session Management [6]) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI [7] input support; - a LV2 instrument plug-in [8]. A brief change-log applies for all in common: - Mitigate NSM sending lots of dirty messages on SIGTERM signal. - Although being deprecated to use, JACK Session support hopefuly fixed once again. [Announce] FFADO version 2.4.7

The FFADO project announces the availability of FFADO version 2.4.7. This is a bug-fix release to address issues encountered since version 2.4.6. This is a source-only release: libffado-2.4.7.tgz. Changes since FFADO 2.4.6: * Address additional type-related issues encounted in ffado-mixer when using python 3.10. Components affected were the crossbar router and the M-Audio device mixer. * Update config.guess to the latest version. This supports newer architectures such as RISCV64. * Address compiler warnings reported by newer versions of gcc. * Add a configuration entry for the Apogee Duet. SoundTracker 1.0.3 released

Hi all, Finally I have released SoundTracker v1.0.3. Comparing to the last pre-release, 1.0.3-pre2, this is only the bugfixing release with few small improvements only. Here are main features of the 1.0.3 release comparing to 1.0.2: * General: - Indication of the current playing instrument / sample number in scopes (optional via Settings) - Extended pattern sequence editor with DND (activaled by right-click on the playlist area) - Quick instrument selection * Track editor: - Track line insertion / removal - Masking for cut / copy / paste operations (also the contents of CCP buffers can be inspected) * Instrument editor: - Envelopes cutting / copying / pasting / scaling - Indication of the keys playing with the current instrument also in the pattern / song playing mode * Sample editor: - Automatic Gain Control sample processing procedure - Selection from loop and to the left / right of the exising selection - Optional loop playback when playing selection - Waveform value indication - Loop Facility, an advanced tool for manipulations with sample loops You can find more new features in NEWS file. [LAA] XUiDesigner v0.9 released

XUiDesigner v0.9 A easy to use tool to generator/design X11 based LV2 Plugin Bundles by drag n' drop, released under the BSD Zero Clause License. Beside that XUiDesigner allow to generate and install GUI's for existing LV2 plugins (so far only Reaper fail to load extra UI's), it support as well to generate LV2 plugins from scratch. Special support is implemented for FAUST dsp files, which allow you to generate a LV2 plugin with X11 based UI by just drag'n'drop a FAUST dsp file into the XUiDesigner interface. This works now as well for MIDI capable faust modules. In any way, you don't need to interference with any of the annoying LV2 implementations. XUiDesigner handle that all for you. The very same is true when you like to implement your own dsp (C++) into a LV2 plugin. Example files for how to create a c++ file for parsing (drag n' drop) with XUiDesigner been included. For later rework the UI a json file will be created which you could drop later on XUiDesigner to load and rework the UI. This may also be usable by other toolkits to create a UI? relative_dynamics.lv2

Hi, this is another "weird" plugin which I finally found the time to implement. It's a dynamics processor that doesn't care about absolute thresholds. It just computes two envelopes, env1 and env2, filtered with exponential smoothing filters with different time constants t1 and t2 (usually t1 < t2). The 2022 edition of PAW will be hosted by the INRIA/INSA/GRAME-CNCM Emeraude Team at the CITI Lab of INSA Lyon (France) on December 3d, 2022. The theme of PAW this year is "Networked and Embedded Audio Systems" with a strong focus on spatial audio and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). New lv2 plug slowmo.lv2

Hi I pushed a new lv2 plug to github, the slowmo.lv2 It's a multi-band (18 bands) slow gear with a following delay/echo.
